bamboo basics for happy and healthy babies

Why  should I use a sleep sack?
Becauseit is much more safe.
According to specialists, these bags may reduce the risk of SIDS, due to loose blankets in the crib. Safety Canada  recommends:
"To reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), healthy babies
should be placed on their back to sleep. Soft Mattressess, pillows, comforters, bumper pads and stuffed toys should be avoided. Babies’ environment should be kept smoke-free. If a room temperature is comfortable for adults, it is also comfortable for a baby. Babies should be dressed and covered in a manner to avoid overheating, even during an illness"
The fitted neck opening ensures that the baby cannot slip inside.
It makes it harder for the child to climb out of the bed or to get her feet getting trapped between the cribs bars
It eliminate the risk of uncovering, allowing children and parents to sleep better
 It allows even distribution of the warmth;

Why should I have Kinderel?
Because it's simply the best: quality fabric, carefully thought-out design. Additionally, Kinderel goal is to safely replace costly bedding, which makes it an exceptional value, as well. Watch for the fitted bamboo sheet comming soon! These two items are the only one that you need in the crib.

How does a sleeping bag work?
You simply un-zip the bag and place the baby in. Kinderel is constructed with a two-way zipper that discourages little hands from unzipping the bag & allows for effortless diaper changes that don’t require undressing the baby

What size should I buy for my baby? Please see the sizing table. You should wait until the baby is at least 3.5 kg, the average sizing for the S(mall) size. Correct sizing is paramount to the comfort and safety of your baby, and we want you feel 100% assured that you've made the right choice.

How do I dress my baby when they are in a baby sleeping bag?
The regular nursery temperature should be around 20C. If you are not able to keep your nursery at this temperature, then we suggest putting your child to bed in whatever is appropriate for the season: lightweight pajamas for warm weather, and warm sleepers for cooler temperatures.
If the nursery temperature rises above the optimal level, simply remove a layer of clothing. Be sure to not overheat your baby (please refer to our safety checklist to read the dangers of overheating).

If the nursery temperature is cooler or the baby feels cold, then simply add a layer of clothing. Please remember that babies have immature circulatory systems, so cool fingers or toes are not a good way to gauge body temperature. A quick way to check if your child is comfortable is to place your hand underneath their clothing on their stomach or back. If they feel sweaty, remove a layer of clothing. If they feel cold, add a body-suit or a t-shirt. DO NOT PUT A BLANKET ON TOP OF THE SLEEPING BAG!

Guideline for what to wear under the sleep sack:

20°C – short-sleeve bodysuit and PJ

22°C – long-sleeve PJ

24°C – short-sleeve bodysuit

These are recommendations only as all babies are different. You have to adjust the clothing according to the baby’s needs

How many Kinderel dreaming bags do I need?
We always recommend having two sleep sacks. Babies can have little diaper “accidents” and it’s always handy to have a spare while the other is being laundered.
