This is a silky mellow rose stretch bamboo jersey fabric from our exquisite collection. It features a four way stretch, being breathable, moisture wicking, being as well naturally bacteria and odor resistant. It has a good weight and so drapes beautifully, falling rather than sticking.

Bamboo is an excellent choice for year-round clothing due to its microporous structure and round fiber, being an excellent choice for a fabric next to skin, helping you stay cool during the summer and warm during the winter. As well, it is an ideal fabric for those that have sensitivities to other type of fibers, being hypoallergenic.
It is great for screen-printing or sublimation. It is really a hard-wearing workhorse of a fabric with a deceivingly delicate appearance! This fabric is biodegradable over time and will not become land fill waste as many synthetic garments turn out to be.
Unlike a lot of rayon, it is heavy enough for garments which do not have to be lined or gathered. After many washes and use, the bamboo jersey products still keep their softness. It is easy to wash and dry, and product last longer, maintaining its properties after several washes.
Sewing this jersey works well for most sewing patterns intended for knit fabrics. It is the most popular in the family of knits, because it is so versatile. You can use it for any garment, particularly those that you’d like to have added drape, like dresses or lounge trousers, or for added comfort for lots of movement such as child wear and active wear.
