Known also as lavender jersey, this lilac bamboo stretch jersey fabric is very silky to the touch and so is smooth and extremely soft next to the skin. It has a good weight and so drapes beautifully, falling rather than sticking.
Bamboo is an excellent choice for year-round clothing due to its microporous structure and natural breathability. The strength of bamboo adds to the durability of the products and works well for those who are allergic to other fibers. After many washes and use, the bamboo jersey products still keep their softness. It is easy to wash and dry, and product last longer, maintaining its properties after several washes.

This is a beautiful stretch bamboo jersey fabric from our exquisite collection. An ultra-soft and silky, medium weight jersey knit that has four-way stretch for added comfort and ease. This fabric feels seriously amazing. It's incredibly soft, lovely drape and comfortable to boot. Unlike a lot of rayon, it is heavy enough for garments which do not have to be lined or gathered. It is perfect for summer wardrobe and screen printing. It is comfortable, and has enough stretch that it doesn't tug at the knees while sitting down.
Sewing with jersey it works well for most sewing patterns intended for knit fabrics. It’s the most popular in the family of knits, because it’s so versatile. You can use it for any garment, particularly those that you’d like to have added drape, like dresses or lounge trousers, or for added comfort for lots of movement such as child wear and active wear.
Jersey fabric is incredibly easy to care for and keep looking great.

Preferably hang dry or flat dry. In case you use the dryer, remove it promptly from the dryer when complete.
This bamboo jersey fabric might shrink, so be sure to prewash your fabric in the manner you intend to wash your finished garment before sewing.
