The company was launched in 2008 by an environmentally conscious mom, Liana Daniela, on the belief that parents shouldn’t have to choose between style, affordability and sustainability for their child. They should have the option to offer their babies quality, locally made, organic clothing and sleepwear.

In 2010 Kinderel's approach to sustainability switched from only producing organic children's products to offering eco-friendly textiles, designed not only for babies, but for all ages! With a background in Chemical Engineering, Liana did a lot of research to source the most safe, resource efficient and ecologically responsible fabrics. Here you can find the most popular materials, best sellers, such as bamboo fleece, organic cotton velour, PUL fabric, hemp fleece and bamboo stretch jerseys at most affordable prices.

Since then, the company has evolved, and Lucian joined Kinderel in Operations, followed by Gia in Office/Marketing, as well as a few specialized subcontractors for logistics, shipping, or accounting. We are working hard 6 days a week, and we really appreciate your business.

Currently the store operates solely online, but local pickups are available by appointment for the customers in the Greater Vancouver area.
