Organic Bamboo Cotton sweatshirt fleece (known as OBF) is a knit fabric with a smooth side, jersey knit like, and a fuzzy side. It is unbleached, undyed, natural in color, super soft and absorbent knit fabric, made of 70% viscose bamboo and 30% organic cotton fibers.
It makes it a great choice for blankets, but also for clothing - hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, joggers, pants, lining hats and coats and anything else that needs to keep the warmth.
Being a great absorbent, bamboo fleece fabric it is also an excellent fabric for cloth diapers flats or inserts, wipes, mama cloths, cloth pads, nursing or cleansing pads, nappies and soakers.
This fabric can also be used in custom projects, as it takes dye well, being great for tie dye, ice dye, screen-printing or other dyeing techniques.

Our bamboo fleece fabric is made from bamboo fibers certified OEKO-Tex 100 Standard for harmful chemicals, meant for infant items that touch the skin, and certifies that the fibers used in this fabric are free of all known harmful substances. The organic cotton is certified by GOTS/Control Union. In addition, this material is complaint with CPSIA requirements for class 1 flammability testing.
This bamboo organic cotton fleece in 265/2680 GSM is the most popular weight fleece fabric, as it is extremely versatile. It has antibacterial properties and can even be used by those who experience sensitivities to other natural fibers, as the round shape of the fiber is gentle on the skin.
Along with bamboo velour, bamboo fleece fabric is one of the best textiles used for cloth diapers. Washed, shrinks about 10%, giving it a better absorbency.

Some rolls may contain sampling holes, used for quality control tests, and the usable yardage is considered at least 95%. Whenever possible, we will add half yard to compensate for the defects.
For the full bolts, the fabrics are professionally measured on equipment that slightly stretches the bolts of fabric, therefore there may be a +/- 5% variation comparing to the loose yardage measurements.

Wash with-like colors, in warm water.
Do not use softener or bleach;
Preferably hang dry or flat dry. In case you use the dryer, remove it promptly from the dryer when complete.
If used for cloth diapers, it is recommended to prewash in hot water a few times, in order to open up the pores, making the fabric more absorbent.
