Hemp Fabric - Organic Cotton and Bamboo Fabric Blends

Hemp Fabric description and properties

Fabrics made from hemp are hypo-allergenic and non-irritating to the skin.

They prove to be naturally resistant to bacteria and able to kill strains of staph on its surface. Great diaper making fabrics.

We provide quality hemp fabric and several blends of hemp and sustainable textiles by the yard or wholesale.

Organic Hemp fabric is made from cannabis sativa fiber or industrial hemp, blended with organic cotton or bamboo fibers to get you an amazing feeling.

Hemp fiber has been used thousands of years in clothing. The hemp has a longer, stronger fiber than most plant fibers on the planet.

Hemps’ tensile strength is eight times that of cotton. It is an exceptionally durable, long-lasting and strong fabric.

Hemp fabric advantages

Hemp has the look of classic linen and will soften with age and with each washing.
Like linen and cotton, hemp is a cool choice for summer. It breathes well. It is recommended for warm, humid climates as the fabric resists mildew and absorbs moisture.

The cloths made from hemp fabric will also protect you from the sun with its UV resistant qualities. All products manufactured from hemp fabric are environmentally friendly, sustainable and psychoactive free.

As a fabric, hemp provides all the warmth and softness of a natural textile but with a superior durability seldom found in other materials.

Apparel made from hemp fabric incorporates all the beneficial qualities and will likely last longer and withstand harsh conditions.

Hemp Blend fabrics may be used in place of any other fabric for outerwear, heavy duty work wear, adults' and children's clothing, bedding, table linens, etc.

When it comes to all-natural fabric, nothing beats hemp. Soft and easy-to-work with, it provides a 100 percent natural and silky layer against the skin.

The hemp plant is a very fast growing crop, producing high fiber yield per acre. The hemp can produce 250% more fiber than cotton on the same amount of land.

Hemp also leaves the soil in excellent condition for any succeeding crop. Hemp’s strong roots anchor and protect the soil from runoff. They build and preserve topsoil and subsoil structures similar to those of forests. It also adds rich organic matter to the topsoil and retains moisture.

Hemp creates one of the most eco-friendly fabrics in the world. Hemp requires no pesticides, crowds out weeds without herbicides, controls erosion of the topsoil, and produces oxygen. It is a renewable resource that can be cultivated in as little as 100 days and is the world’s most versatile fiber.

Organic Hemp Fabric Care

Please cold water when laundering hemp fabrics. It is not recommended to use chlorine bleaches.

Allow hemp to air dry. Using a dryer can cause wrinkles and make it shrink.

Hang the garment up overnight to avoid wrinkles. Otherwise, touch-up ironing is needed.
