This medium to heavy weight stretchy jersey knit fabric, made from bamboo and hemp blend, is soft, absorbent and and naturally resistant to mold and ultraviolet light.

Bamboo hemp jersey fabric is perfect for t-shirts, yoga wear, even dresses or pants. Soft and stretchy, it is a pleasure to sew and wear! As well, it is great fro stretchy flats. 

This hemp stretch jersey fabric is undyed and unbleached.  It can be dyed with great results.

    Product Characteristics

    This four way stretch jersey, made from two great fibers, bamboo and hemp, is a great blend, that provides extensive absorbent properties, while maintaining it's supple drape. Naturally blocking the UV rays, it is the perfect material for summer clothing.
    In addition, this material is mildew resistant, being naturally antibacterial.

    The bamboo hemp stretch jersey is as well thermal regulating, keeping warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

    Fabric care

    Wash with-like colors, in warm water. Do not use softener or bleach; Preferably hang dry or flat dry. In case you use the dryer, remove it promptly from the dryer when complete.
    If used in cloth diapers, it is recommended to prewash in hot water a few times, in order to open up the pores, to make the fabric more absorbent.

    Amazing for t-shirts

    this fabric is amazing for T-shirts � slightly nubby, slightly stretchy, and my husband loves the fact that it�s keeping him cool this summer.

    Great cloth diapers

    I purchased this fabric and "Hemp Stretch 1x1 Rib" for cloth diaper flats (28 x 28 inch squares). I had been using insert-style diapers and was ready to give up due to constant leaks, but these fabrics have renewed our cloth diapering commitment. They hold tons of liquid, and the stretch from the jersey knit allows us to get a very snug fit. Love love.

    Good Fabric

    i love this fabric but it was a little too thin for the shirts i am making , i am concerned about small holes forming in the garments over time. beautiful fabric but not recommended for shirts

    I will be buying this again

    I love this fabric. It’s so thin but still so absorbent. It makes a great day time flat that leaves a nice trim diaper. Is so soft and stretchy and again super absorbent. I love it and will be purchasing more in the future. I wish they offered this one in different colors!
